  1. Wow! Thanks! Too bad Brother doesn't supply that first option, the other one (which Brother has in the doc) didn't work for me at all.

  2. I used to be recommended this website through my cousin. I’m not positive whether or not
this post is written by means of him as nobody else understand such designated approximately my
    trouble. You are incredible! Thanks!

  3. one of the few fixes that have worked for me lately…… first I didn’t see the ” * ” but I tried again & it worked…..toner replacement is a racket……..but we bought an HP 4050 in 2001 and it gets 10,000 copies per cartridge and has never jammed ! …..the only thing is – a new cartridge is $180.00……..still, I’ve only replaced the cartridge once since 2001 and yes, I don’t make copies all day either……but brother should provide a longer lasting initial toner cartridge – at least 6000 copies…

  4. Actually, only the second option didn’t work for my MFC-7860DW. The first option wasn’t working because I had not put the asterisk (*) in front of 00. Thank you!!!

  5. I’ve replaced the toner with a new Brother toner and still get the error message. “clear” and *00 did not work. also *1.2 did not work.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

  6. Similar for my MFC-7860DW: The second option didn’t work. The first option did when the comments here pointed out the asterisk (*) in front of 00. Thanks! But then my printer revenged itself by disconnecting from my wifi…
